Great game for the Women's 2nds this weekend despite the score. Taking to the pitch with 11 outfield players, no goalkeeper and no sub for the first half, the 2nds held unbeaten Cheddar in their half for at least 80% of the game, great possession, superb passing and applying constant pressure!!
Cheddar got lucky on breakaway goals where we truly missed our trusted goalie!! With some more confidence in the attacking circle the score may well have been different.
TCS goal was scored by Luna and she was voted MoM!!
All the team should be super proud of how they played - a young team lacking league hockey experience but showing lots of enthusiasm , determination and promise, learning quickly and growing in confidence with each game.
