Everett clan net six as TCS finally show true attacking power.

Goals were plentiful in the final league match of the season which saw six different names on the score sheet. Toron Everett, returning to the twos, bagged four well taken goals as well as being instrumental in three others including winning two penalty flicks (one successful). Pete Wintrip netted a fine strike after some assistance from the opposition keeper and evading the poaching stick of Bill Horner. Bill found himself on the list with two goals from around the left hand post position, both very well taken. Jamie Everett finally got the promised opportunity to prove himself as the team's flick taker and slotted home well and also hit a goal from open play despite the disbelieving, derogatory screams from his own father as he was striking the ball. James Sewell, on his return from the other stick and ball sport, found himself hitting a very strong hat trick. and Andy Carter hit a trickling short corner into the foot of the keeper which somehow found its way in.

Great play was displayed by all players involved in the game and it was an emphatic way to close what has been a mostly very positive season. Some ratings for the game -

Mike Whitman - 11, Clean sheet, finally killed a player and +1 because that player was Dan.
Alex Bartram - 9, Great performance at the back - great development over the season.
Evan Tarr - 9, Strong again at the back, finished the season in amazing form.
Dan Adams - 10, Passing perfected, great support play and good game awareness - also helped shorten the list of flick takers.
Karl Patrick - 9, Bossed the defence and made crucial final tackles to limit ECV to desperate hit and hope hockey.
Conor Neal - 9, Controlled the middle of the park, did also throw his stick like a girl and totally ruin the final attack (love you).
Josh Stevenson - 10, Passing and vision that opened up the game and tackling that shut down the ECV attack.
Pete Wintrip - 10, Dominated the final third and controlled most of the attacking play.
Jamie Everett - 10, Great build up play and a very well struck flick, even better as he stopped Toron taking it.
James Sewell - 10, Hat trick in his first appearance back at the club - should have had four and goal of the season (skipper denied).
Toron Everett - 7 , He says that in this league a striker should get 6 per game - so a failure really. Made the game as easy as it was.
Bill Horner - 10, Great play in build up, positional awareness, tackling, composure and all round a great performance.
Joe Waddon - 9, Growing in confidence - great drive at the end to set up final goal of the game.
Andy Carter - 7, set up goals and caused a nuisance - did have a sniper moment with a bad neck - loss of man points. Stopped the goal of the season in epic style earning a green card in the process.

Julian Brown - 1, Injured his back in the warm up proving he can inject short corners with 75% accuracy but good pace.
